The beginning of a new project is an exciting time! What are the possibilities if we have a fresh start? What are the problems with the existing product we could solve with innovative design solutions?
SNAP!
The SNAP! concept was the inspiration for design strategy that builds 7 SKUs from 2 sizes of capacitive touch display assemblies. This simplifies the the design and manufacturing and reduces cost by establishing only 2 electro-mechanical platforms.
The form factors would be adapted from there with different keyboard options. The I/O connectors and batteries are common on all configurations to maintain compatibility with peripherals.

The CN8X family of products are deigned to be Rugged, Refined and Ready. These marketing images promote this phylosophy with imagery and information.
